Sharon Park is President of Sage Digital Marketing. She shoots straight from the hip and speaks the truth. Life is short. Why not get straight to the point?
Sharon is a seasoned industry leader, having been in advertising at Google and PubMatic for over 12 years. Over the last decade, Sharon has led digital strategies for customers like Zillow, Berkshire Hathaway, Nordstrom, Samsung, and Adidas.
In 2008, Sharon structured the “Obama for America” media buying strategy which resulted in a 22:1 return on ad spend. Together, the Obama marketing team leveraged social, search, and display to help turn Obama into a household name and won Ad Age’s “Marketer of the Year” award, beating out both Apple and Zappos.
In April 2011, she was the principal architect behind the global remarketing strategy for General Motors and successfully deployed 700 campaigns to capture over 1 million in-market car shoppers. Her GM program was the largest remarketing campaign in history at the time of launch. In addition to her digital work, Sharon is a major supporter of With My Own Two Hands Foundation, a water and agriculture organization that funds education in Kenya.
Alex Ioanna is Sage Digital Marketing’s Account Director. He is a B2B expert and a master data architect. He has an extensive background in search, programmatic, and social. While Alex’s main focus involves paid advertising, he has an approach to digital marketing that can be described as holistic as he guides digital strategy in all areas of the business. Alex has led marketing strategies for brands such as Mass Mutual and Pantone as well as Mizuho, one of the largest banks in Japan, and Industries for the Blind and Visually Imparied, a Non-profit organization that employs visually impaired individuals for 50% of their staff.
When asked about his passions, Alex answers, “My biggest passion for change is the environment, and sharing awareness with others that climate change is real. It is every person’s responsibility at this point to limit their emissions as much as they can, recycle whenever they can, and overall just make it a point to be as environmentally conscious as possible.”
Kamal Taylor has 17 years of experience in leading the tech industry in growth marketing. He is a true data architect and master in Google Ads. Prior to becoming a performance marketing consultant, Kamal led Scaled Acquisition at Stripe, was Sr. Director of Acquisition at Yelp and RetailMeNot. Kamal and Sharon were both early employees at Google where they first met on the Small and Medium Business team led by Sheryl Sandberg.
Fuller Wise is our Business Development and Marketing intern. He joins us from the University of Virginia, where he studies Public Policy and Leadership in the Frank Batten School. He is passionate about customer acquisition and recently graduated from a rigorous training program at HackCville, where he gained valuable experience in end-to-end marketing technology stack integration. Around grounds at UVA, he currently serves as the Co-President of the Resilience Project, a club that strives to promote the benefits of resilience and growth-mindset to all students and the broader community.
UX and Graphic Design Consultant
Iris Ebert is a visual designer with a background in digital media and communications in the humanitarian sector. Her previous experience includes working for the International Rescue Committee, the United Nations and With My Own Two Hands Foundation. She is passionate about effective design and user experience, and is currently supporting us with our branding and digital media.
Paul Rivera is advisor to the Board of Directors at Sage Digital Marketing. In addition to guiding the direction of Sage Digital Marketing, Paul is CEO of Kalibrr, a technology company that transforms the way candidates find jobs and companies hire talent. He is a start-up influencer and investor in growth-stage companies. He shares his invaluable perspective as an investor.
Kristan has worked on SEO strategy for many Fortune 500 companies and notable American brands over the years, including Google, Zillow, Trulia, National Geographic, Amazon and Express. She has been in search marketing for almost a decade and in 2017 she founded Conifr Media where she is Lead Consultant.
Ben Lund is founder of Rise Marketing Group, Sage Digital’s SMB advertising partner. Ben and Sharon crossed paths at Google where Ben was a Principal Account Manager. Ben’s relentless focus on building value for businesses and leveraging his exceptional talents to build profitable ad campaigns has led to a strong partnership between the two companies.
